@Nandy @insiyalambe and I would like to get feedback from the team + outside experts on how the Finance circle is doing and what impact we’re having and where we can improve.
We will have a team wide feedback process, feedback from useful people, the language is important, and then look into individual feedback
Notes from Meeting where we discussed this:
Deborah- feedback systems are all about how we can continuously improve. We already do this, something we have not done yet is to post one of our meetings as a feedback session. Invite people to give their feedback . So then we can create an improvement plan.
Nandhini - first feedback we are already doing. The second one is confusing. Who are the people?
Deborah - anyone can come
Nandhini - would we be having feedback for the members in a way it does not hurt anyone’s feelings. It would be great for improving ourselves.
Insiya - agree with Nandhini. Who will give feedback? Deborah - anyone who’s impacted and would give useful feedback.
Nandhini - Looking into these systems for other organizations + schools.
Insiya - Feedback for team or individual? Nandhini - first team then individual.
Deborah - Look into Sociocratic performance reviews but rename leadership development reviews
Insiya - Hear that we want the feedback to be supportive. Could do anonymous feedback.
Nandhini - value to not say things that would hurt people
deborah - it is not about saying things that are about judging people characters. What we can do is give some guidance starting with facts and then move onto what their impacts were based on what the needs were met or not.
Nandhini - include something positive along with the negative remark
Deborah - How urgent is this as a project?
Nandhini - I think next semester
Insiya - Agree next semester
Deborah - we will have a team wide feedback process, feedback from useful people , the language is important, and then look into individual feedback
