Consent based governance is not just about government, it’s also about how we relate to one another in general. On an interpersonal level, I think we need to stand for bodily autonomy as well starting from the youngest ages. This is about having a safe community. It is also about shifting beliefs regarding young people having the power to decide for themselves.
I also think we’ll need to lean heavily on partners for whom this is their purpose.
