@Carlee123 I was thinking it makes sense for this retreat or parts of this retreat to be open to people outside of the mission circle. For example, when we talk about external comms, Mariana should be there. What do you think?

Meeting Minutes from our Planning Session

Meeting Date: May 26, 2020

Attended By: Carline, Deborah

Decisions Made:

  • We’ll have community building activities like a Kahoot! Quiz Bowl on the histories of our organizations, optional bonding time over lunch (people can also take a full break), and breakout groups to get to know each other better.
  • We will have more conversations with people to fill out the rest of the agenda. See our next steps for the conversations we’ll have.

Next Steps:
[*] Carline will post in YPC’s #communications channel and ask that a future agenda item be about how YPC is growing into its own organization and how it relates to the founding organizations
[*] Carline will connect with Jackie and Mariana on external communications
[*] Carline will check in with Michael on how to include Rachel in decision-making process
[*] Deborah will check in with Michael on finances
[*] Far will check in on succession planning / elections
